１年生の登校風景 1st Grade Heading to School [１年生]
入学式後の最初の週は，６年生が校門で１年生を迎えます。
For the first week after the entrance ceremony, sixth graders meet the first graders at the school gates.
教室では，当番の６年生が荷物の整理の仕方や提出物の出し方などをいっしょに教わりながらやっていきます。また，朝の時間はいっしょに本を読んだり，折り紙を折ったりしながら過ごしたり，紙しばいの読み聞かせもしていました。落ち着いて1日をスタートするために，６年生も工夫しながらがんばってくれています。
In the classroom sixth graders guide them in how to organize their things and turn in their homework. During the morning period, they read books together, fold origami, and read picture books out loud to the class. The sixth graders are working hard to help the first graders settle down and start their day.
また，１年生は今日から給食が始まりました。配膳のしかた，お祈りの歌，片付けかたを一つずつ確認しながらの給食でしたが，みんなできれいにいただくことができたと思います。来週からは６年生が交代でいっしょに給食を食べてくれます。
The first graders also started school lunch today. Doing one thing at a time, they learned how to setup their desks, how to say the school lunch prayer, and how to clean up afterwards. I think they did a great job. Starting next week sixth graders will enter the classroom and eat their lunch with them.
